Welcome to The Learning Studio

We are an Alternate Provision Centre based in S10, that focuses on building skills in Maths and English.

About Us

At our centre, we create a calm and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable and supported. We focus on building skills in Maths and English, while working towards individual goals.

We understand that everyone has their own pace, so while we encourage students to participate in all of our sessions, we know there are days when you might not feel up to it. If that’s the case, you’re welcome to take a break and relax in the calm room.

Our goal is to support you in your learning while providing a space where you can feel at ease.

Life Science

Tuesday

Groups come together to explore the basics of life and science. From the origins of the universe to the mysteries of electricity, the human body, and more — we’ll uncover how the world around us works.

Life Skills

Wednesday

Each week, groups join to explore a new art style and create our own masterpieces using a variety of mediums, including watercolours, oil paints, markers, pens, clay, and more.

Arts & Crafts

Thursday

Groups join in preparation for the real world. Practice skills like writing a CV and cover letter, understanding payslips, handling professional complaints, workplace relationships, renting etc.

Anything Can Happen

Monday/Friday

All students come together to build essential life skills in a fun, way — from communication and teamwork to research, confidence, and real-world prep like job interviews. Every week brings a new challenge!

Our Team

All of our tutors have taught in schools before deciding to pursue other opportunities. We are all qualified teachers, DBS checked, and have completed safeguarding training. We focus on supporting each student by adapting to their needs during the session.
