Victoria is passionate about education. With more than 10 years in the sector she has refined her skills to be able to tutor all types of students. After gaining a first class degree in Finance, she moved to Sheffield to complete a Higher Diploma in Mathematics. After choosing to teach, she completed a PGCE and dedicated the rest of her life to helping others succeed. Since then, there have been many students who credit their success to learning from Victoria and she is looking forward to working with you to help you reach your goal.

Helen studied an integrated masters in chemistry at the University of York with a year spent abroad studying at the University of Helsinki. After graduating she relocated to Sheffield to undertake a PGCE in Secondary Science with chemistry. Following completion of this Helen embarked on her teaching career in a fully comprehensive 11-18 school in North Derbyshire as an NQT science teacher whilst part-time studying for a Masters in Applied Professional Studies in Education. Helen has taught across all major exam boards at GCSE, as well as many different qualifications including Entry Level Science and Separate Sciences, and has extensive experience of the new A level curriculum and structure. As well as over seven years’ experience of teaching science up to GCSE and A level chemistry, Helen was a Head of House for six of those years; giving her the opportunity to hone her skills of helping to build confidence in young people and boost their enthusiasm for learning. Helen is passionate about encouraging young people to become involved in STEM, especially female students, and is relentless in driving her students forward in order to achieve their very best. In addition to her role at The Learning Studio, Helen is also a Teacher Fellow for Wales for the Royal Society of Chemistry helping to develop support in curriculum design.

Ryan is an experienced science teacher with in-depth subject knowledge, having taught to every level of secondary education, including A Level Biology and Chemistry. Moreover, Ryan supplements his detailed specification knowledge with experience as a GCSE science exam marker for AQA. In addition, he has a strong foundation in educational research following a research-based Masters focusing on metacognition and its role in revision techniques.

Elli is an experienced English teacher with a demonstrated history of teaching English language and literature both as part
of the English Curriculum and as part of EAL and ESL teaching. She has completed her BA and MA studies in English literature and culture at the
Aristotle University in Greece, and she is currently finishing her PhD studies in English literature at the University of Sheffield on a full-time scholarship. Elli has over ten years of teaching experience, and she is also the coordinator of several University of Sheffield reading groups and conferences. She has also presented papers on English literature in various conferences over the world. Elli has recently created an educational blog called ‘Teaching English is Fun’, where a wide range of educational resources are uploaded for teachers to download for free. She has extensive experience in English content creation, as well as preparation of students for GCSEs and A level exams.
