Lina sorour
a-level chemistry tutor

First Class Biomedical Science Degree

Lina joins us with a wealth of Chemistry tuition and as a fourth-year medical student at the university of Sheffield. Lina pursued Chemistry, Biology and Maths to A2 level, achieving an A* at GCSE and an A at A-level in all three.  A lot of the students Lina has tutored over the past 3 years have struggled to put topics taught in school into context and so have benefitted from her explanations that give certain topics some perspective. Her work in the laboratory as part of her intercalated BMedSci and 4 years of medical school thus far contribute to this greatly.  She is very passionate about Chemistry, it was always her favourite subject at school (especially organic chemistry). Students have given feedback that Lina is non-judgmental when they are unsure of the answers and instead encourages and guides them to the correct answer.
