Victoria is passionate about education. With more than 10 years in the sector she has refined her skills to be able to tutor all types of students. After gaining a first class degree in Finance, she moved to Sheffield to complete a Higher Diploma in Mathematics. After choosing to teach, she completed a PGCE and dedicated the rest of her life to helping others succeed. Since then, there have been many students who credit their success to learning from Victoria and she is looking forward to working with you to help you reach your goal.
Helen studied an integrated masters in chemistry at the University of York with a year spent abroad studying at the University of Helsinki. After graduating she relocated to Sheffield to undertake a PGCE in Secondary Science with chemistry. Following completion of this Helen embarked on her teaching career in a fully comprehensive 11-18 school in North Derbyshire as an NQT science teacher whilst part-time studying for a Masters in Applied Professional Studies in Education. Helen has taught across all major exam boards at GCSE, as well as many different qualifications including Entry Level Science and Separate Sciences, and has extensive experience of the new A level curriculum and structure. As well as over seven years’ experience of teaching science up to GCSE and A level chemistry, Helen was a Head of House for six of those years; giving her the opportunity to hone her skills of helping to build confidence in young people and boost their enthusiasm for learning. Helen is passionate about encouraging young people to become involved in STEM, especially female students, and is relentless in driving her students forward in order to achieve their very best. In addition to her role at The Learning Studio, Helen is also a Teacher Fellow for Wales for the Royal Society of Chemistry helping to develop support in curriculum design.

Briana is a highly professional and driven educator, with expertise in innovative teaching and learning complemented by a masters in education. Briana has spent 7 years in education and recently moved to the UK from Australia where she is excited to take on a new challenge. She is an outstanding teacher of English and is creative in her approach. Briana is up to date with the latest technological advances in education and will use this experience to drive her support of her students at The Learning Studio.

Matt is an experienced English teacher and English subject specialist. He has taught at secondary, further and higher education levels in both English Language and Literature, where most notably he has led a team of English teachers in an international sixth form. Matt has experience in teaching for AQA, Eduqas, Edexcel and OCR exam formats for both English Language and Literature. He is also qualified to teach English as a second language and very experienced in academic writing feedback and proofreading having previously taught undergraduate in South Yorkshire. Matt is passionate about education and improving the life chances of others.
